The Founder and President of NorthEast Business Advisors, Mike is an entrepreneur and experienced mergers and acquisitions advisor who has owned and operated several successful high technology businesses, has an extensive background in brokering small and middle market transactions, deal structure, financing and brings a sense of fairness and equality to the transaction.
Mike has an Accounting and MBA degree, and holds CPA and CBI credentials. He is actively involved in many organizations representing the mergers and acquisitions industry, including the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors, M&A Source, International Business Brokers Association, Exit Planning Exchange, Association for Corporate Growth and the New England Business Brokers Association.

A Managing Director at NorthEast Business Advisors, Ron is a business appraiser, broker and consultant specializing in the valuation, sale and financing of closely held companies. After earning his BS in physics at Bowdoin College, Ron worked as an engineer at various technology companies ending his engineering career as Product Marketing Manager for the semiconductor division of MA-Com. He went on to earn his MBA at Harvard Business School and cofounded Financial Research Inc., an investment management and advisory firm. He then gained his manufacturing experience as Executive VP/Treasurer/Director of Nichols & Stone Co., a manufacturer of traditional furniture. In 1995, he cofounded International Risk Management, Inc., a consolidator of companies providing risk management services to middle market commercial clients. As CEO of IRM, he orchestrated 7 acquisitions totaling over $80 million of premium revenue. After successful sale of IRM, Ron provided consulting services to two internet-based start-ups before joining The March Group, a private investment banking firm, where he pioneered that company’s entry into the New England market by gaining marketing engagements with 13 middle market companies. In 2001, concurrent with his March Group affiliation, he joined George & Co. as Managing Director where he has completed over 40 client company acquisitions.
